On the one hand, there is an opinion that it is necessary to update the curriculum as a way to modernize the school with no risks on the part of teachers and principal. On the other hand, it is considered that the school, and the administrator at the first place, are the main agents of change. This second approach is more challenging and demands from the administrator to take decisions, merely at the same time it allows the school principal reveal his or her potential, creative abilities, capacity, and it also requires that the administrator is persistent, self-confident, and eager to develop.
